No. You create a workspace with a username, an email and a password. Credits are bought when you want to start sending.
When your email or SMS provider accepts the message. A bounce after that counts, because the message left; a message that never left, or one to someone who unsubscribed, doesn’t.

Yes. Messages leave through your own account with your provider, which charges you as it normally would. Credits pay for Zypento’s part.
Only the workspace owner is offered the upgrade, because the plan is recorded against the owner. Everyone else is asked to check with them.
